Up Money, Ltd. started operations in November 2014 post acquisition of Sukhjit Finance Ltd, a company incorporated on 6th Feb 1995 under the Companies Act 1956. The name of the company changed to UP Money Ltd w.e.f 2 nd day of March 2015. The Promoters of UP Money Ltd. come from the renowned ‘Chawla Family’ who have strong roots in Ludhiana and near around suburbs. The company is managed by a highly experienced and professionally qualified Board consisting of Mr. Ajit Singh Chawla and Mr. Sumel Singh Chawla who have tremendous experience in lending and other financial services.
The company was incorporated on 6th Feb 1995 under the Companies Act 1956, as Sukhjit Finance Ltd, and after the change of management of Sukhjit Finance Ltd w.e.f 2nd March 2015, the name of the company has been changed to UP Money Ltd.
The Company offers affordable financing for two-wheelers loans and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) mainly for rural livelihood advancement. Our main aim is to provide finance for income-generating activities, socio-economic development, and financial inclusion.
Working together with over 1100 employees, we reach our market by connecting with thousands of customers, be it in cities, towns, or villages, right at their doorstep. We penetrate deep inside the market covering approximately 8200+ villages with 50+ operational branches and 250+ two-wheeler dealer networks spread all over in Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh.
Since its inception, the company has disbursed more than 450Cr of loans servicing more than 100000 customers.
